Developmental Dysplasia Leaflet
The brief was to create a four page A5 leaflet, to help inform parents of newborn babies diagnosed with developmental dysplasia of the hips (DDH), along with the necessary advice and support available to them.
I felt it was important to convey the information visually with a sense of care and sensitivity, to help the reader feel reassured during an anxious time following the birth of their child. The use of soft pinks and blues, along with circular containers helped to provide a sense of comfort and security to the imagery.
The leaflet was designed as an editable PDF, to allow distribution across different hospital wards throughout the country, so they could insert their corresponding contact information.
NHS Conference Agenda Brochure
For this brief, I was asked to create a 12 page brochure for the use of a NHS conference. No imagery was to be used, but it needed to display the written content in a clean and efficient style, detailing the schedule and proposals of the speakers in attendance. The use of icons allowed to break up key segments of information and provide subtle visual references to the content.
